SAVING GRACE, the beloved film that inspired the smash-hit series Doc Martin is brought to the stage this autumn as a heart-warming and hilarious new musical. With music by BRIT Award-winner KT Tunstall and book by acclaimed playwright April De Angelis, this world premiere is directed by Tony Award-nominee Laurence Connor.

After the suspicious death of her husband, Grace is alone and on the verge of bankruptcy. Finding an unlikely friend in her gardener Matthew, the budding entrepreneurs create a new joint venture to solve their financial woes. Dipping their toes into the dark side of horticulture, Grace and Matthew light up the sleepy seaside town of Portzeath, as the pair find new highs in life’s lows.
SAVING GRACE opens at Riverside Studios from 22 November 2022 for 12 performances only.
This exclusive run of performances, complete with a full cast and band, is a chance to experience the development of a new West End musical up close. The Saving Grace creative team look forward to welcoming audiences to a sneak preview normally only seen by industry insiders.
