Every Thursday morning, the home-schooling non-profit organisation, Spiritus will be bringing dance and drama workshops to help foster the curious and creative side of young people who are home-schooled in the community. We reccomend signing up for the 12 week programme so that all students can work towards a performance at the end.
The workshops will be led by the Don Rae Academy of Movement and the Arts, a talented and committed group of teachers who are also professional performers. All of their facilitators have a current CRB/DBS and have trained at prestigious stage schools such as Arts Ed, Doreen Bird and Central School of Speech and Drama. Their workshops focus on encouraging creativity, team building, and physical wellbeing. Their classes are also especially designed for visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learners, which have proved effective in many primary and secondary schools across the country.
Suitable for children age 9-16 years.
