Despite the passion he puts into it, Antonio finds it hard to make ends meet as his acting career refuses to take off. When he sceptically accepts a job as a drama coach in a penitentiary, he soon discovers unexpected talent within the unlikely company, and his passion feels rekindled. He talks the warden into crossing the prison walls to perform Samuel Beckett’s famous play “Waiting For Godot” on an actual stage. Day after day, the inmates get drawn into the project by Antonio’s resolve. They start appreciating the liberating power of art and seeing something beyond the stillness that pervades their lives. And so, when the moment arrives, a triumphant tour begins.
