Whether you’re joining us for the first time or returning for more, this workshop invites artists to explore, research, and learn together.
At the heart of the session is the question: What is the future direction of performance art in the UK? We’ll delve into the evolution of performance art over the past 40 years, exploring key practices, movements, and influential artists who have shaped the scene. Through collaborative discussions and hands-on experiments, we’ll analyze techniques, unpack their context, and challenge what it means to create art today.
This workshop offers a unique space to research the future of performance art, blending history with innovative practice. Whether you're pushing creative boundaries or seeking fresh perspectives, this session will inspire and expand your artistic toolkit, helping you shape the future of performance art.
