Join us at Guitarnation Riverside Festival on the set of Green (a Play about Music, by Meg Schadler) for the first masterclass in our selection of Music related events to hear from Greek-South African composer, performer, multi-instrumentalist and Musical Director Stamatis Seraphim, whose  music ranges from film and theatre soundtracks to R&B/Soul and jazz.

In this Masterclass, Stamatis, joined by Actor/ Producer Olivier Sublet, will explore the nature of an idea, discuss the language used between writers and composers, discover the process of research, brainstorm and creation, and excavate the soul of the piece, using examples from Stamatis’ career, and the process that they share with Olivier as creators in tandem. 

Stamatis has worked with Olivier on several projects including SEAL BOY, directed by Sean Turner, which marked the second collaboration between Sean and Stamatis, their first being A Midsummer Night’s Dream (starring Kerry Ellis, Jonathan Hyde, Dan Burton and Milly Zero). Stam composed the music LEVEL UP!, an original musical by Lucy Watson, directed by Patrick Wilson. Finally, Stamatis composed the soundtrack for GREEN which you shall see later on in the evening following the talk.
