Pull Focus: An Exhibition by Riverside Artists Group
PULL FOCUS brings the 40-year history of Riverside Artists Group (RAG), unique among London art groups, into sharper clarity. It is a celebratory, curated exhibition of artworks, memorabilia and films.
Katharine Meynell (curator) selects from the work of 33 current members of the group and presents a cohesive yet personal vision. The show spans past and present eras and draws together individual practices which reflect the group’s evolving identity.
An Archive Wall in the Window Gallery shows 40 years of memorabilia, with photographs and artworks from the group’s beginnings as an informal association of artists, formed in 1986 at Riverside Studios, to its established position today. This is a group that shows regularly in both London galleries and Internationally, now returned to the recently redeveloped Riverside Studios.
