A welcoming dance and movement class for people aged 55+, which combines music, simple exercises and improvisation
Using simple anatomical ideas as inspiration, participants explore moving with greater ease, balance, and joy, discovering how to use less effort and more freedom in their bodies. The class focuses on wellbeing and enjoying dancing rather than performance, in a relaxed, playful environment.
No dance experience is needed - this is an able-bodied class, open to beginners.

Andrew Coombs is a community dance artist with over 25 years’ experience encouraging people of all ages to move more. For 55+ Dance and Movement, he creates playful, music-led classes that encourage curiosity, ease, and creative exploration. Sessions offer a welcoming space to discover new ways of moving, connect with others, and enjoy the pleasure of dancing in the body we have now - no experience needed.
