Francis Dunnery Concert - England's Tales

A new show from Progressive Rock Star FRANCIS DUNNERY in Studio 2

IT-BITES stormed the charts with 'Calling All The Heroes', 'All in Red', 'Whole New World', 'Still Too Young to Remember', and their frontman singer-guitarist, Francis Dunnery is coming to Riverside this month. Expect great songs, awesome vocals and guitar playing and sentient harmonies 'to die for' from his band. He's collaborated with Lez Zeppelin's Robert Plant on tours and albums plus collaborations with Carlos Santana, Squeeze's Chris Difford, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, Happy Monday's Ian Brown, Genesis's Steve Hackett and the progressive rock band Asia.

Get ready for a powerful and nostalgic journey back to the heart of working-class Britain in the 1960s and 70s. England's Tales is a powerful, deeply nostalgic theatre show and living memoir. Through vivid, heartfelt stories, Francis will take you on an unforgettable journey through his musical career and global success from first hits in the late 80s through 6 It-Bites albums in the 90s to worldwide renown in his solo career in the noughties to band tours up to the present day selling out Islington Town Hall on 2023's Francis Dunnery It-Bites Tour.

Join us at Riverside for a show that will stir your memory and lift your spirits. The performance features songs that soundtracked those formative It-Bites years and solo projects, along with a few brand new tunes that bring the past right into the present. Whether you grew up on a council estate like Francis Dunnery or simply appreciate a moving, authentic piece of collective British childhood experiences that became a musical career success story, this show promises an evening of raw, beautiful storytelling and spellbinding music.
