When Julio, the leader of a ufologists association in Elche dies unexpectedly, the members see their secret humankind-changing master plan endangered. Now José Manuel, one of the members, will have to carry on with the plan. Meanwhile, everyone in Elche is looking for a missing little girl. Exquisitely framed, García Ibarra’s debut feature film is uncomfortably amusing and defies expectations in a terrific way.

As part of the Festival's Basque Window, veteran filmmaker Iciar Bollaín will come and present her latest film, Maixabel, a thoughtful film about violence and forgiveness. In the program also is the first film by established actor Javier Pereira, Loose, as well as Chema García Ibarra's exceptional The Sacred Spirit.
