Tony Lankester - Interim Executive Director

Tony Lankester joined as General Manager in October 2019 having spent 12 years as CEO of South Africa's National Arts Festival where he oversaw the operations of Africa's largest arts event. Prior to that, with a degree in Journalism, his career spanned corporate marketing, communications and sponsorship for financial services group, Old Mutual, and working at South Africa's national radio station SAfm as Marketing Manager, Presenter and Producer.
 

Rachel Tackley - Interim Creative Director

Rachel has had a varied career enabling and producing productions in London, throughout the UK and all over the world.  She has worked extensively in the commercial and not-for -profit sectors.  She is currently working freelance and is Executive Director for ATG Productions working on future planning, commissioning and development as well as day-to-day management.  Rachel was previously Executive Director at Chichester Festival Theatre and before that Director of English Touring Theatre.

 

Guy Hornsby - Interim Business and Finance Director

Guy was appointed Executive Director of Riverside Studios in 2006 and Project Director of the building redevelopment since the start of work in 2014. Guy began his media career as an arts and entertainment producer and presenter for BBC Radio London and BBC World Service. He was Producer of Tony Blackburn's mid-morning show and then became Group Programme Controller of Southern Radio in charge of seven independent radio stations in the South and South-East. He created the dance music phenomenon Kiss 102 in Manchester becoming its Group Chief Executive after also winning the franchise for regional station Kiss 105 in Yorkshire. Under Guy's leadership, these Sony Award winning youth market brands achieved an enviable reputation for combining programme excellence with business success. The stations were purchased for £17.6m just over four years after the company had been founded with its initial investment of £600k.
