Big Dog
Thu 30 Jul - Sat 1 Aug 2026
Big Dog is a tragicomedy inspired by real-life experiences, written by Izzy Radford.
Set within a glossy, female-founded “boss babe” company, the play follows Nicole, a new ghostwriter navigating a workplace which outwardly champions empowerment and “sisterhood”, whilst demanding moral compromise and absolute loyalty.
Things fall apart when the chance for a promotion exposes just how dissociated Nicole and her colleagues have become from the realities of violence and real-life victims.
Big Dog interrogates the true crime industry, contemporary influencer culture, and workplace politics. It asks who gets to tell certain stories, who profits from them, and who ultimately bears the emotional consequences.
