Bitesize Short Film Festival 2026 - Day 2
Day 2 turns up the intensity with Bitesize’s most unpredictable and genre-blending screening night.
Mixing dark comedy, thriller, horror, fantasy and emotionally charged drama, the evening takes audiences through a cinematic world filled with paranoia, strange encounters, moral dilemmas and moments of unexpected humour.
The night opens with the gripping Iranian thriller Nigeria before diving into occult bureaucracy, countryside horror, psychological tension and explosive comedy. Highlights include the award-winning filmmaking team behind Spoken In Plain Sight, returning to Bitesize with a stylish noir mystery set in London’s criminal underworld.
Alongside the tension and chaos, Day 2 also delivers deeply human stories exploring grief, identity, resilience and family, creating a screening that is both entertaining and emotionally rich.
Bold, strange, funny and full of energy, Day 2 captures the adventurous spirit of independent cinema at its best.
