This is what happens when you bring together a peripatetic band of stand outs from home-shores, like Sandy Kerr, Phoebe Strachan and Mike Lay, near shores including Ireland’s Dr. Easkey Briton and big wave charger Noah Lane, and far shores from Hawaii’s Cliff Kapono to Canada’s Andy Jones. A visual masterpiece from award winning duo Luke Pilbeam and James Bowden journeying across the Celtic fringes, through thunderous barrels and peeling points breaks, pulling on threads that reveal that it’s as much about the journey as the folk that are with you along the way.

Tofino surfers Mathea and Sanoa Olin grew up chasing some of Canada’s finest cold water waves together. This short celebrates the different paths each has followed in their first cinematic reunion for the hard charging sisters since childhood.

The evening is accompanied by The Shorties shortlisted films – the very best short films from homegrown filmmakers.
