Writing Workshop With Abi Zakarian

A short writing workshop with Abi Zakarian, co-creator of The Wanderer. In the workshop, we will explore how we represent our heritage and legacy on stage, particularly when they are from underrepresented communities.

Through group discussions, sharing in a safe space and writing exercises, each participant will create a short monologue inspired by an object of personal significance. The workshop will help you transform personal, cultural and ancestral history into compelling dramatic action.

Please bring a photograph or a small object connected to your heritage or family history. This will be the starting point for your writing.
