In My Own Little World

Following a sold out debut performance at The Union Theatre, In My Own Little World will premiere at Riverside Studios, running for two weeks.

In My Own Little World is a queer multifaceted piece that centres on Jada, a young trans woman navigating the early stages of transitioning. This poetic one-woman show offers an intimate and honest exploration into love, identity, resilience, the relationship with your inner child and the courage it takes to step into your power. Written, directed and performed by emerging trans artist Jaz Terry, every element of this production is shaped by her own artistic vision. A piece created not just to tell a story, but to create space for connection and feeling, to show the inner worlds we all build when the outside world can be overwhelming. This two week run off In My Own Little World marks an exciting new chapter in Jaz's development as an artist, sharing her perspective of the world firmly at the centre of the stage. 

IN MY OWN LITTLE WORLD is Supported by Emmanuel Akwafo through No Name Creatives, the company behind the celebrated The Black Print Concert, presented at Lyric Hammersmith and New York’s Green Room 42, and Limp Wrist and the Iron Fist at Brixton House, this production continues the company’s mission to champion underrepresented voices and create vital space for marginalised stories on stage.
