About Riverscribes
At Riverscribes, we offer an exceptional platform for emerging writers to hone their craft. Our programme is designed for beginners and seasoned writers looking to expand their horizons. Led by a team of distinguished facilitators—Nadine Gray, Rachel Knightley, Henry Fitzherbert, and Scarlet Billham—our workshops provide invaluable guidance and feedback.
A lively and supportive creative writing forum where you are invited to share, discuss and develop your work. Our weekly evening workshops cover various writing topics, ranging from playwriting and screenwriting to songwriting and creative writing. They are open to those who wish to drop in or participate more regularly. Each course is 90 minutes long and for just £10 per session, or £6.50 with a concession.

As part of our commitment to supporting new writers, Riverscribes hosts a monthly Scratch Night. The event, hosted and curated by Riverscribes Playwriting Facilitator Nadine Gray, features 4 to 5 ten-minute script extracts at various stages and provides valuable feedback in a supportive environment.
