Saving Grace was originally released in 2000 as the British comedy film starring Brenda Blethyn and Craig Ferguson. It was directed by Nigel Cole and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival where it won the World Cinema Audience Award.
After the success of the film, two prequels were made which were eventually developed into the hit ITV series Doc Martin.
With the book by April De Angelis and music and lyrics by KT Tunstall, the new musical Saving Grace will be directed by Laurence Connor.
This very limited, exclusive run of performances is a chance to experience the development of a new West End musical. The creative team behind Saving Grace are looking forward to welcoming audiences to previews of the show normally only seen by industry insiders at this stage.
Presented with a full cast and band, the shows at Riverside Studios will be intimate, and connect every moment on stage with the audience members.
Over the course of the 12 shows the Creative Team will learn from the audience’s reaction to the work, and may change the show for future performances. This mean no two performances may be the same! Any show you see will be unique to the evening you attend, making it be a perfect snapshot of the development of the show at that moment.
With only 12 performances, tickets are limited. Check availability here.
