Greg Hilty

Gallery Curator, Riverside Studios 1983 - 1989; Exhibitions Director, Riverside Studios 1989 - 1990

Greg Hilty is a British curator of contemporary art who began his career in 1983 at Riverside Studios. In 1990, he moved to London’s Hayward Gallery where, as Senior Curator, he focused on innovative presentations of contemporary artists within the broad visual arts field. He was Director of Arts for London Arts and Director of Visual Arts and Literature for the Arts Council England’s London office, from 1999–2004. From 2005-8 he worked in partnership with the University of the Arts London, developing artistic initiatives across creative disciplines and industries. Greg joined Lisson Gallery as Curatorial Director in 2008, working with artists to develop opportunities across all platforms, broadening the programme within a wider global framework, and leading the Gallery’s expanded activity in Asia.
