Helen began her career as a teacher in Greater Manchester before taking roles in community liaison and development.
Following four years as the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham’s Arts Officer, Helen joined Riverside Studios in 1989 when, as a member of the senior management team, she sourced funding, developed outreach programmes and established a community radio initiative, Riverside FM.
After leaving Riverside in 2005, Helen has continued to live and work in West London.
