Trevor Laird (born 1957) is a British actor who trained at the Anna Sher Theatre in Islington. He was a founder member of the Black Theatre Co-operative (now NitroBeat) in 1978 and performed in its inaugural play Welcome Home Jacko by Mustapha Matura at Riverside Studios the following year. He had breakthrough roles in the 1979 film Quadrophenia and in Franco Rosso's 1980 cult classic Babylon. Since then, he has appeared in many prominent films and television programmes including The Long Good Friday, Secrets & Lies, Doctor Who, Toast of London and Ted Lasso.
