Following our award winning production of Pericles, which performed at Riverside Studios in 2022, Flute are giving the UK premiere of A Midsummer Night’s Dream - their newest production. These two shows will form part of Flute’s summer Shakespeare festival with performances for autistic individuals every day from July 30th-August 11th.

Our lovers, our fairies and our mechanicals see with their ears, hear with their eyes, taste with their hands and speak with their hearts. Our company of seven performers is onstage for the whole play transforming again and again in front of your eyes. Our dreams inform our waking hours informing our playing of the play and the play within the play.
“Are you sure we are awake? These things seem small and indistinguishable, like far off mountains turned into clouds. We are awake!”
We are touring Our Double Dream across Europe. It is performed twice – for a mainstream audience and then again in an essential way for autistic audiences in whichever language they best understand.
Show duration: 100 minutes, without interval.
