Miranda Simmons is a Sustainable Production Consultant with Picture Zero and experienced TV Line Producer, with a background in delivering factual programming to major UK and International broadcasters. Her fascination with the planet was inspired by working on the Tony Robinson Channel 4 series, 'Man on Earth', which looked at how previous civilisations were affected by climate change. As an Executive Committee member of the Production Managers Association, she founded the PMA Green Wing to promote sustainability in the Production Management community. In 2021, she became a BAFTA Albert Trainer, regularly presenting Sustainable Production sessions to the Film and TV industry.
