Whether you’re exploring dance for the first time or picking up the craft you studied as a child, this is for you.
The class is designed to engage those muscles we forget about, providing an all-round workout with a focus on developing artistry.
The most important part is falling in love with dance- gaining performance confidence whilst training to improve technical accuracy. For this reason, no mirrors will be present in the studio.
Ballet at Riverside are classes suitable for anyone 18+. Differently abled people are also encouraged to join! Adaptations will be available so everyone can experience the full benefits of dancing.
Lydia trained from the age of 11 at The Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst Ballet School. Her professional credits include The Nutcracker (Royal Opera House), Synergy (Sadlers Wells) and work with the RAD to demonstrate the Repertoire Syllabus.
She now works freelance as an Actor and Filmmaker, with a passion for movement direction. She starred in Twenty, the multi award-winning short film about a homeless dancer, alongside Lorraine Ashbourne (The Crown, Bridgerton).
