This physical theatre workshop focuses on integrating movement and voice, guiding participants to create playful and precise compositions that blend text with physical action. Open to all levels and backgrounds - actors, performers, and dancers - it offers adaptable exercises suited to each participant. The course provides tools to experiment with generating movement from text and creating text from movement, exploring their dynamic relationship. Techniques include working with body resonators inspired by Grotowski and developing movement clarity and intention through Laban and contemporary dance practices.
The workshop uses contradictions and paradoxes to explore playfulness, investigate dynamic qualities and enhance bodily awareness. Participants are encouraged to bring their own texts and ideas to develop through practical guided exercises.
