Evol Creation and Global Mosaic Foundation proudly present this new play.
Written by Nina Agathou and Nicolas Lamy
Directed by Olivier Sublet
Laura and Martin have lived together since they were kids. This, as all things, must now come to an end. After a drama-filled night out, their friendship is put to the test as secrets are revealed.
Will their friendship survive?
Witty, sharp, and touching, Bordering Fiction challenges audiences to reflect on the seen and unseen conflicts of gender roles and the unspoken rules that govern our interactions. It explores themes of gender politics, sexuality, decorum, behavior, and even the role of food in our lives.
Nina Agathou:
Nicolas Lamy: Nicolas Mathieu Lamy is a theatre maker currently training at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He previously studied as an actor alongside Nina Agathou at Arts University Bournemouth, and has gone on to work across a variety of art forms (including music, poetry & writing, film and theatre). He seeks to create work that not only inspires changes, but also encourages the individual to become the primary catalyst of this change (whether it be social, political, personal, emotional, etc). He hopes that Bordering Fiction encourages and inspires you to change!
Olivier Sublet: is an actor, stuntman, musician and producer based in London. He is the London Coordinator for Global Mosaic Foundation and the creator of Evol Creations. He trained at the American Academy of Dramatic arts in NYC, moving there from Geneva, Switzerland, where he is originally from. His stage credits include “The Last 5 years” by Jason Robert Brown, “Dreams and Nightmares” at Sands Point Preserve in Long Island, Midsummer Nights Dream at the Gatehouse theatre directed by Sean Turner, “Seal Boy” which he produced, and the critically acclaimed immersive production of Trainspotting Live, with which Olivier has toured with and performed in at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival many times.
“This Play is produced by Global Mosaic Foundation. We are a global arts fundraising company, dedicated to funding art by making art.”
