Caged

‘CAGED’

12 OCTOBER - 1 JANUARY

This third collaboration between The Art Hound Gallery and Riverside Studios is inspired by ‘Cages’, the new production, fresh from LA, which was recently unveiled to UK audiences at Riverside.

Top tier cutting edge contemporary artists have been hand-picked to respond to ‘Cages’ themes, style and story-telling. Some standout pieces to look out for include: a life-like beating human heart lenticular artwork by the superstar light artist Lauren Baker; the multidisciplinary artist Naomi Wallens presents a futuristic handmade neon flower painting; and 'Punk Rock Legend' Mark Illuminati teams up with Amy Winehouse’s tattoo artist Henry Hate to create a custom neon monkey installation.

We also have international art director Simon Freeborough presenting beautiful silkscreens featuring barbed wire and tattooed flowers and Mark Petty presents a selection of intricate multilayered glass silkscreens with skulls and sharks.

The exhibition has already been described as "dark, broody, and sexy as hell” and runs from 12 October in the Atrium of Riverside Studios.
