A dark psychosexual horror comedy. Dangled is an adaptation of Nikolai Gogol’s
Diary of a Madman by multi-award winning South African writer Louis
Viljoen and performed by multi-award winning actor Rob van Vuuren. Dangled
was nominated for best new South African script at South Africa’s
prestigious Fleur Du Cap Theatre Awards as well as for Best performance in
a solo show. Winner of the Standard Bank Silver Ovation Award for best
production at the National Arts Festival as well as the Audience Choice
Award at the Cape Town Fringe Festival. Dangled was awarded the Pebble
Trust Touring Bursary Award for the Brighton Fringe where it was selected
as part of the The Stage UK as well as The British Theatre Guide’s Picks
of the Best of the Brighton Fringe 2016.
