Following his 2021 Golden Bear winner Bad Luck Banging or Loony Porn, the Romanian auteur Radu Jude is back with a brilliantly smart and provoking satire that had its World Premiere at the 2023 Locarno Film Festival, where it was awarded the Special Jury Prize.

A Tale of Cinema and Economics in Two Parts: Overworked and underpaid Angela, drives around the city of Bucharest to film the casting for a “safety at work” video commissioned by a multinational company. When one of the interviewees reveals the company’s liability in his accident, a scandal erupts.

"This is cinema as an incendiary device, exploding in our faces, that demands we pay attention."

- Deadline

"Essential viewing for anyone trying to survive the world as we now know it"

- Sight & Sound

"A glorious, poisonous, everything-in-the-pot treatise on the state of the world today"

- Little White Lies

“A dizzying, dazzling feat of social critique, an all-fronts-at-once attack on the zeitgeist, and a mischievous, often hilarious work of art about the artifice of work.”

- Variety

"A maddeningly radical, tedious, shockingly repetitious, brilliant two-hour-and-43-minute Godard–meets–Harmony Korine Romanian masterpiece"

- John Waters
