To celebrate Doctor Who's 60th anniversary, Riverside Studios - itself a Doctor Who filming studio - and the Doctor Who Appreciation Society (DWAS) take you back to the very beginning, with a unique combination of screenings and special guests!
Join us and our special guests at the iconic Hammersmith location for a special screening of the acclaimed BBC 2013 docudrama "An Adventure In Space and Time". To accompany the main feature in Riverside's main cinema, we are also pleased to confirm a screening of the 1966 Riverside-filmed final episode from the classic "The Celestial Toymaker". This is your unique chance to see dramatised the origins of the iconic show, and also see what an actual episode made at the Studios looked like, back-to-back in a double bill!
Not only are we thrilled that the star of Adventure in Space and Time, David Bradley (who memorably played William Hartnell, the First Doctor) will be joining us, but also two stars from the early years of Doctor Who: Peter Purves (Steven) and Frances White (Cassandra). All guests will participate in an on stage Q&A. A signing and photo studio will follow in a nearby space later (separate charges will apply).
We'd like to thank Alliance Agents for their assistance in arranging David Bradley's appearance.
Please note: watching these episodes through today's lens has some inappropriate cultural stereotypes.
