Led by Athena Amoret, host of The Clown Jewels, Riverside’s own clown night.
This workshop is perfect for those who have an idea, a 5-minute act or less, and want somewhere to explore and hone their creation. Limited to 10 participants you will all get the chance to develop your work in a supportive environment through exercises, workshopping, and feedback. You will achieve this by sharing your work in a supportive group environment to achieve your clowning potential.

About Athena
South London born clown, Athena Amoret trained at Circomedia, studying Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre and shortly after joined a monthly clown night Friday Flop, created, and directed by Jon Davison. The company performed at Rosemary Branch Theatre, Blue Elephant Theatre as well as running workshops at London Metropolitan University and Rose Bruford College. Athena then went on to create her one-woman, feminist, provocative clown show, CHICK-IN SHOW, which debuted at the Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2023 and in February 2024 was staged at Riverside Studios, part of Bitesize Festival 2024 to a great reception.
Athena will perform CHICK-IN SHOW at Tramshed on Friday 18th July at 9pm.
