Francis Holland School, Sloane Square is proud to present the classic musical comedy GUYS AND DOLLS at Riverside Studios. With the bustling streets of 1950s New York as a backdrop, Guys and Dolls follows the most unlikely of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary; a hopelessly romantic showgirl and a suave gambler desperate to find a location for his craps game…
Quintessentially American in spirit, this Golden Age musical remains a timeless tale that owes its longevity not only to its multitude of memorable characters and hummable tunes (‘Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat’, ‘Luck Be A Lady’, ‘Marry the Man Today’…), but also to its enduring themes of ambition and self-made luck. Following on from the success of MADE IN DAGENHAM at the Adelphi Theatre, this performance of Guys and Dolls is performed by a talented ensemble of FHS pupils and promises to bring buckets of Broadway flair to the London stage.
GUYS AND DOLLS: A Musical Fable of Broadway is performed by students from Francis Holland School, Sloane Square.
