Ever wondered what makes some characters feel so real? Or why some dialogue feels more natural? In this workshop we'll teach you how to fully realise your characters and how to make your diaglogue and words sing, and connect with your audience. All experience and disciplines welcome, whether you're a playwright looking for some tips and tricks, or an artist who works in another medium looking for some skills to help their storytelling please come on down and join!
Participants are invited to bring their own work / a laptop.
Nick Dawkins
Nick Dawkins is a writer and dramaturg whose last play, A Manchester Anthem, won multiple awards including Pleasance Pick of the VAULT Festival, Show of the Week VAULT Festival and Broadway Baby's Bobby Award, as well as being nominated twice for an Off West End Award. He has a MA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and his work has been performed at Southwark Playhouse, The Space, The Vaults and The Pleasance Theatre.
