The Horgles are a puppetry duo consisting of Kyle Moss and Ceilbí. They have worked with Oliver Award Winning Irish theatre company Fishamble and have collaborated with Theatre Deli, New Diorama, Theatre503 and Camden People’s Theatre.
Ceilbí is a queer trans non-binary puppetmaker, puppeteer, writer and director. Their show A Xerox of a Deer was a smash hit at Edinburgh Fringe in 2025, with Binge Fringe calling it one of the Top 25 shows to see!
Kyle Moss is a puppeteer, writer, and performer. They were a BBC top 1% writer for 2025 and a Screen Ireland Finalist. They have studied puppetry at Little Angel Theatre under Oliver Hymans.
In this workshop we will introduce you to the world of puppetry in relation to live theatrical performance. From Character, Voice, Movement and Breath work, we will start to understand what makes a puppet come to life.
We perform with ‘Muppet-Style’ puppets, and will be teaching the basics of both rod arm and live hand.
At the end of this Introduction to Puppetry workshop we will give you the tools to go out into the world and have the key fundamentals of puppetry performance in a theatrical set up.
