Creative movement and imaginative play are the foundations of this fun and energetic early introduction to dance for toddlers. Parents participate in the class activities with their children using different props and imagery, which helps little ones build their confidence in sharing a space with others, through joyful movement.
The aim of the class is to introduce basic motor skills, encourage musical response to specialist songs, hone listening skills and enhance focus. The class is taught in a relaxed and friendly manner and there is no pressure for the little ones to participate in all the activities continuously. The class is suitable for boys and girls from 18 months up to 3 years old, and is free for Dive In Members.

Ballet4life has been proudly delivering Dance to the West London community since 2004 with their fun, friendly, and effective classes in everything from Ballet to Jazz Dance, Barre Work-Out, and Character and Contemporary Dance. Once the pandemic hit, they created an extensive online dance programme for all to access which continues to thrive. The organisation work with children of all ages and deliver Music and Dance workshops in local West London schools with The Nonesuch Orchestra.
Johanna Saarinen from Ballet4life will lead these Parent and Toddler Dance Classes. She will deliver an enjoyable mix of Ballet, and Creative & Contemporary Dance, providing a fun and inspiring foundation for everyone to explore movement and self-expression.
