Riverside Studios is delighted to partner with the charity, Open Age, to bring these weekly theatre and movement workshops for people aged 50+.
Run by playwright, director and qualified yoga teacher, Laura McCluskey, these classes use a unique combination of movement and theatre so that participants gain new performance skills. This class is suitable for a range of abilities, from complete beginners to those with theatre experience.
You can expect:
- Fun theatre exercises to build self-confidence and fire your imagination.
- Yoga based warm-ups to build physical skills.
- To create movement-based drama inspired by imagery, music and words – whatever inspires you!
Please note, you must be an Open Age member to join these classes. Open Age Membership is free, and you can sign up during your first workshop. These workshops are brought to you with the kind support of Hammersmith United Charities.
