Inspired by the works and life of post-war American poet & novelist Charles Bukowski and told using Art Theatre’s unique stage language, this dramatic composition of six short stories is set in & driven by the sound of 1950s-1970s, USA.
Charles Bukowski is a true literary legend, the king of the underground & a “laureate of the American lowlife”. As modern artists we delve into the lives & fates of Bukowski’s insignificant characters and we ironise, laugh, reflect & empathise.

Together these, mostly, working-class stories paint a picture that would not look out of place in modern-day London – as one audience member put it "I know all of these people, I know all of their problems."
