The first in an occasional series of archive concert screenings.

In March 1978 XTC played live for Sight & Sound in Concert– a ground-breaking series of simultaneous broadcasts between BBC2 Television and Radio 1, featuring music from John Martyn to AC/DC, Curtis Mayfield to Split Enz.

This rare live performance features songs from XTC’s White Music album, including This is Pop and Statue of Liberty.

The evening will be introduced by one of the television programme’s production team, Jill Sinclair, who has been given a message to read out from Andy Partridge.

Jeff Griffin, the man responsible for the original In Concert series on Radio 1 and producer of the stereo sound for the simulcasts, will explain the pioneering technology involved in making the series.

After the screening there will be a Q&A with both Jeff and Jill.

All ticket holders will receive an XTC goodie bag from Burning Shed.
