Rock Up Guitar Club (Acoustic guitar classes)

Ready to take your guitar skills to the next level in a fun, interactive setting? Simply Rock Up to our Guitar Club at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith for our acoustic guitar sessions, where everyone from total beginners to intermediate players can find their groove.  

Each group will run for an initial four weeks, there will be a beginner's group and an intermediate group, ensuring lessons are tailored to your level.  

Beginner sessions: 6.30-7.30pm

Intermediate sessions: 7.45-8.45pm

How we Rock 

Sessions are taught in a circle, creating a relaxed and interactive atmosphere where everyone can see, hear, and learn from each other. With a focus on pop and rock classics, you'll play through one or two songs per session, developing your technique in a collaborative and engaging way.  

Rock up for any session or join for the whole 4 weeks.  

Who’s in charge 

These sessions will be led by professional guitarist Leo Appleyard, a world-class musician and educator with a wealth of experience.  

Leo has performed internationally at renowned venues such as Ronnie Scott's and major jazz festivals like the North Face Festival (Switzerland) and The Blue Note (Dublin). Leo is also a lecturer at the prestigious ACM London (Academy of Contemporary Music) and LCCM (London College of Creative Media).  

His expertise and approachable teaching style ensure players of all levels will feel supported and inspired. 

What do I need to bring?  

Just bring your acoustic guitar, a tuner (or tuner app) and a plectrum.
