Join sculptor, illustrator, and ceramicist, Maria Trupia for this introductory air-dried clay making workshop at Riverside Studios.
Maria will be teaching us some of the fundamentals of crafting clay, so that you can learn more about this mindful, creative process which doesn’t require kiln firing.
Held in our Rehearsal Room, ceramicist Maria will be teaching you some helpful techniques to unleash your inner artist.
Please bring an apron or wear clothing you don’t mind getting messy as you'll be working with terracotta air-dryed clay. We also recommend bringing any objects, clay moulds, cookie cutters or bowls that will help your sculpting process (although some will be available as well.)
Please also bring a box or container to take your work home with you.
