A thought provoking round-table discussion following the matinee exploring the issue of modern slavery and trafficking and the challenges faced particularly for women in finding a place of safety.
Chaired by Caroline Clegg, (director of the play) she will be joined by Phil Brewer from the Bakhita Centre for Research on Slavery Exploitation and Abuse at St Mary’s University, George Tench and Aicha El-Alaoui from the charity Stop the Traffick, Maddy Crowther and Sonja Miley from the charity Waging Peace. The speakers will discuss the realities of modern slavery from their direct experience and open the floor for questions.
The Symposium is free to ticket holders or £5 per ticket for non-ticket holders.
