On June 28th Riverside Studios will be holding its inaugural Black Literary Festival. Twenty-six authors will be discussing their work, inspirations, experiences, loves and motivation.
What does it mean to be a Black author? How can such writers get their work heard? Is there a target audience? The day will involve eight sessions: Two sessions offering each author an open mike - 2 minutes to present, promote and sell their wares. How does one best employ two minutes to engage with the audience? The other six sessions involve four writers in discussion talking about the how, why, when and where of being an author.
The day offers the opportunity to purchase signed copies of the books.
