Join us for the first event in The Chronic Oversharers series, dedicated to raising awareness and fostering conversations about invisible illnesses in the creative sector. This relaxed and inclusive evening will bring together chronically ill and able-bodied creatives to connect, share, and learn.
The evening will include:
A Panel Discussion and Q&A: Founders Anna van Miert and Roxana Munoz, alongside guest artists (TBA), will explore the challenges and inspirations of navigating the creative sector while living with chronic illness/disability.
Live Readings & Exhibition of Art Works: Enjoy a showcase of writing, visual art and more, celebrating work informed by lived experiences of chronic illness. Attendees will have dedicated time to explore the displayed works.
Whether you're a chronically ill creative seeking connection or an ally wanting to learn more, this event offers a unique opportunity to engage with the often overlooked realities of illness and celebrate the work that it inspires. Ultimately we want to provide visibility to a chronically overlooked community.
With special guests Isabelle Pead (@isabelle_Pead) and Emily Bazalgette (@griefsick).
