Global Mosaic Foundation presents:
A night of Singer-Songwriters by the River!
HEADLINING ACT:
The wistful and talented Irish singer-songwriter Tootawl.
Standing at six foot five, Irishman Richard O’ Gorman was christened ‘tootawl’ whilst in Nashville, Tennessee, playing his brand of bustling contemporary folk in famous venues such as The Bluebird.
Upon his arrival home to Ireland, he began working as Tootawl. Since Tennessee, he has released two EPs and an album, received national radio airplay, and toured extensively. He also had his song ‘House On The Moon’ played in an episode of the Netflix original series 'You Me Her'.
Now based in London, he has signed with Max Music Publishing, and released his debut self-titled LP in June of this year. Taking the DIY approach, the album was recorded entirely live to tape on an old reel-to-reel tape machine, and the cover is a tintype photograph, taken by specialist photographer Gareth Jarvis in Wales.
OPENING ACT:
Singer-Songwriter Rosie Smith accompanied by Lucinda Freeburn of Evolution of Fishermen
Rosie Smith from Glastonbury is set for success with her debut album ‘Face’. After a year that included her first Glastonbury Festival performance and a tour with Scouting For Girls, she’s made waves with her debut single “Breakfast For Dinner Tonight,” under X&Y Records. Influenced by Fleetwood Mac, The Lumineers, Ed Sheeran, Billie Eilish, and John Denver, Rosie has been praised as “an exceptionally gifted lyricist.” She describes her music as “folky pop with a twist,” blending storytelling with commercial appeal. She hopes her music offers guidance for young adults navigating love, friendship, upheaval, and grief.
Lucinda Freeburn is the violinist in the 6 piece folk band Evolution of Fishermen and regularly plays for Rosie Smith. Gigs include: Glastonbury Festival (Rabbit Hole stage); Scouting for Girls UK tour support act (Glasgow 02 arena); Godney Gathering (Main Stage); wilderness festival; Deer shed Festival; Medicine Festival; Half Moon Putney
Theatre credits include: One Man, Two Guvnors; Alice in Wonderland; Beauty and the Beast; Nutcracker (New Vic Theatre); a Midsummer Nights Dream; Twelfth Night: a Cornish Tale (Stafford Gatehouse); Macbeth (Three Inch Fools); Cinderella (Royal Ballet); Turandot (Royal Opera House); Pepi and Me (Camden peoples theatre)
SPECIAL CAMEO BY HARRY COLLIER
Harry’s KUBB album, Mother, was acclaimed as, “Reaching for the heights of Jeff Buckley, the intensity of a less-goth Muse, and the heft of vintage Radiohead, ‘Mother’ is quite some achievement, documenting the many highs and lows from Harry Collier's convoluted life story in the form of bitter but glorious tunes like ‘Bitch' and towering, orchestral songs like ‘Grow’ and ‘Wicked Soul’. Each track has strong emotional intent and dark undertows. After triumphant appearances on The Jonathan Ross Show and Later... with Jools Holland, this album instantly soared to the top of online demand lists and was awarded Gold discs going on to sell circa half a million copies.” Harry co-wrote an album with Faithless adding his sublime lead vocals to the stadium rockers stellar sound, he toured the world with them and landed in Australia.
