TRUE GRIT (2010):
Following the murder of her father by a hired hand, stubborn 14-year-old farm girl Mattie Ross (Hailee Steinfeld) sets out to capture the killer.
To aid her, she hires the toughest U.S. Marshal she can find – a man with ‘true grit’ – Reuben J. ‘Rooster’ Cogburn (Jeff Bridges). Against his wishes, Mattie insists on accompanying Cogburn, whose demeanour doesn't necessarily align with Mattie's belief in his abilities. The pair are accompanied on their journey by LaBoeuf (Matt Damon), a Texas Ranger who's trailing the killer for reasons of his own.
