The Riverside Pass (the “Pass”) is a discount and free benefit Scheme devised by Riverside Studios Trust and is sold on a limited time basis to our customers (the “Passholder”). Pass benefits will expire 12 or 6 months after the Pass was purchased, depending on the type of Pass purchased.
Benefits accruing to Passholders may change from time to time but will always be at the minimum level offered at the time of purchase.
A fair use policy applies to the use of the scheme and, central to that, is that the Pass only affords benefits to the Passholder (except for some defined benefits stipulated for guests accompanying the Passholder). If a Passholder is found to be unfairly passing their benefits on to another patron, we reserve the right to immediately cancel the Pass. In such an instance, no refund will be due to the customer for any portion of the purchase price.
The Pass entitles the Passholder to a range of benefits. Some of which are subject to specific terms, including:
Cinema Tickets – the free ticket benefit applies to the first six tickets (or three for a 6-month Pass) purchased by the Passholder in the course of their membership year. Thereafter, the 10% discount will be applied to cinema ticket purchases.
Theatre and Event Tickets – availability of free or discounted tickets will always be subject to agreement with producers hiring our venue to present their work. Riverside will use best efforts to secure such benefits for Passholders, but these may be on a restricted basis (ie restricted to specific seats or performances or booking windows, and Passholders may be restricted in terms of how many free or discounted tickets they can purchase or receive. All theatre and event offers are subject to availability at the time of booking)
Food and Beverage Discount – the discount offered to Passholders can be claimed at Riverside’s Bakery, Atrium Bar, River Room Bar and Cinema Bar during each outlet’s regular opening hours, and against any purchases made at those outlets. It can not be claimed at the Bar & Kitchen for either sit down or takeaway meals, nor does it apply to event catering. The Passholder must always be present at the point of purchase – simply showing the Pass card may not suffice as evidence of membership of the scheme, and our staff may request the Passholder to show photo ID to validate their membership.
Free popcorn – the free popcorn benefit entitles the Passholder to get a free single, regular sized box of popcorn when they attend a film at Riverside.
Monthly Screenings – Riverside will present a monthly screening of a film of our choice, usually as a weekday matinee, to which Passholders will be invited for free. These screenings will not count toward the Passholder’s free ticket allocation for the period of their membership.
All ongoing benefits will be communicated to Passholders by means of a regular newsletter using our mailing software. The Passholder always has the right to unsubscribe from those emails but, by doing so, they will fail to receive news of these benefits and offers and Riverside cannot be deemed to be in breach of our obligations if a Passholder has unsubscribed or filtered the mail to their Spam folder.
From time to time we may need to update or alter these Terms and Conditions. If we do so, we will communicate such changes to you. If you disagree with the changes or if they are deemed to be unfair or prejudicial, we may choose to offer compensation. Such compensation may take the form of additional free tickets or by extending additional benefits at Riverside’s sole discretion. Riverside may decide to, instead, offer the Passholder a full refund of the Pass purchase price or a partial refund where the price is reduced by the value of benefits already enjoyed by the Passholder. In all instances, the extent of Riverside’s liability will always be capped at the price paid for the Pass by the Passholder.
