Bitesize 2026 closes with a vibrant final night of bold storytelling, striking visuals and unforgettable cinema from across the world.
Blending fantasy, drama, animation and imaginative genre filmmaking, Day 3 celebrates the creativity and ambition of independent short film through a programme filled with cinematic energy, emotional depth and visually distinctive storytelling.
Highlights include the atmospheric French drama Asphalt and the visually daring fantasy-thriller Baiser Baiser. The evening also features imaginative animated works including Simulacrum alongside the fantasy tale Among The Beasts.
From intimate human stories to visually inventive worlds, Closing Night brings together films that are thought-provoking, entertaining and emotionally engaging, creating the perfect finale to this year’s festival.
