Prophets (An R&D at Riverside Sharing)

When Day’s world is shattered, it takes everything he believed in with it. Set entirely within his flat, Prophets follows a young man whose grief leads him to ask a simple but devastating question: what happens when God dies? A dark comedy about faith, family and the promises made in God’s name.

This sharing was selected for our R&D at Riverside Programme - providing free rehearsal space for new writing. Every year we offer several opportunities for free rehearsal space with a ticketed sharing of the very best brand-new work that would otherwise face financial barriers in securing space. Supporting new work is at the heart of what we do, and buying a ticket for this sharing helps us to fund future opportunities for artists.
