About Duchess Daphne
Today I am an independent artist and a versatile singer of all things soulful accompanied by my band, The Masters.
Soul, R’n’B, funk and rare groove were in the house, but reggae was always my home.
Being so close to my Jamaican heritage through my grandma, I always felt comforted by the sounds of dub, roots, dancehall and bashment knowing my ancestors created such beauty. I aim to embody the recreation of black music and history through my covers and originals in my career.
