About Athena
South London born clown, Athena Amoret trained at Circomedia, studying Contemporary Circus and Physical Theatre and shortly after joined a monthly clown night Friday Flop, created, and directed by Jon Davison. The company performed at Rosemary Branch Theatre, Blue Elephant Theatre as well as running workshops at London Metropolitan University and Rose Bruford College. Athena then went on to create her one-woman, feminist, provocative clown show; CHICK-IN SHOW and found her love of creating performance art in the process. The show debuted at the Wandsworth Arts Fringe 2023 and in February 2024 was staged at Riverside Studios, part of Bitesize Festival 2024 to a great reception. Athena enjoys mixing clown and performance art and making innovative work, leaving the audience thinking long after the performance.
