Come and connect with emerging writers, spoken word artists and poets in this relaxed and inclusive open-mic night and mixer at Riverside Studios.
There are a limited number of performer tickets available if you’d like to take the stage and try out your material. Both first-time performers and newly published writers welcome. Each performer has up to 10 minutes for their slot.
After the open-mic, the bar will be open to chat to other emerging writers, share feedback and exchange ideas for new collaborations.
There will be pamphlets, zines and poetry collections for sale from indie publisher, Electric Frog Press, including their new publication of poetry, It Chased No Deer by Charlie Mitchell.
About Electric Frog
Electric Frog is a small press which started in the autumn of 2022 with the intention of providing a place for new and experimental writers to publish their work. Since then they have brought out several books and pamphlets, and they also host regular film screenings and open mics, allowing artists from all over to come together and inspire one another.
